Before your first class
Do I need experience?
No. Both classes welcome beginners. Your instructor introduces the skills progressively and helps you find an appropriate starting point.
Does the class involve floor work?
Yes. Jiu-jitsu includes work on the mats and transitions between positions. If getting down to or up from the floor is difficult, speak with Abel before booking to discuss suitability and possible adjustments.
What should I bring?
Wear comfortable exercise clothing and bring water. Contact Abel before your first visit for guidance about clothing and equipment.
What if I need an exercise adjusted?
Tell the instructor about limitations or concerns before class. Discuss available modifications and whether the class is appropriate for your current abilities. Fitness classes do not replace medical care or rehabilitation.
