InBody 380 body composition & grip testing
Your weight is only one number. Our InBody 380 estimates muscle, body fat, body water, and segmental balance. Every test also includes an InGrip hand-strength measurement you can compare over time.

A clearer picture of you
Turn one weigh-in into detailed information you can follow from one test to the next.
See your skeletal muscle mass and track changes over time.
Review body fat mass, percentage, and visceral fat level—not just total weight.
Compare lean and fat analysis across your arms, legs, and trunk.
Review total, intracellular, and extracellular water, plus ECW/TBW.

InBody InGrip Dynamometer
Grip strength provides a simple, objective measure of hand strength. It complements your body composition results with a practical strength baseline you can follow over time.
Record the force produced during a guided squeeze in pounds.
An adjustable handle supports repeatable positioning across different hand sizes.
Compare future results to see how your measured grip strength changes.
Tell Abel before testing if gripping causes pain or you have a current hand, wrist, elbow, or shoulder injury or restriction.
Simple from start to finish
The InBody 380 test is quick, barefoot, and non-invasive. Your included InGrip test adds a hand-strength measurement to the same progress baseline.
Follow the simple guidelines below for the most consistent result.
Remove shoes and socks, then stand still while holding the hand electrodes.
The handle is adjusted to fit your hand, then you complete a brief guided squeeze.
Review the key measurements and use them as your progress baseline.
Before your test
Body water, meals, and exercise can affect the reading. Use the same conditions each time you test.
Do not eat for at least three hours before your appointment.
Test before exercising and after your body has fully recovered.
Maintain your normal fluid intake; do not overhydrate right before.
Use the restroom immediately before the test whenever possible.
Shoes, socks, and pantyhose must be removed for electrode contact.
Retest at a similar time of day and under similar conditions.
