InBody InGrip Dynamometer

Strength you can measure—and build on.

Grip strength provides a simple, objective measure of hand strength. It complements your body composition results with a practical strength baseline you can follow over time.

01
Measure handgrip strength

Record the force produced during a guided squeeze in pounds.

02
Use a consistent fit

An adjustable handle supports repeatable positioning across different hand sizes.

03
Retest your progress

Compare future results to see how your measured grip strength changes.

Included with every $25 InBody test.No separate booking or additional charge.

Tell Abel before testing if gripping causes pain or you have a current hand, wrist, elbow, or shoulder injury or restriction.

Simple from start to finish

Quick testing for a more useful baseline.

The InBody 380 test is quick, barefoot, and non-invasive. Your included InGrip test adds a hand-strength measurement to the same progress baseline.

Common questions

How is this different from a regular scale?+

A scale shows only total weight. The InBody 380 estimates muscle, body fat, body water, and how lean and fat mass are distributed across the body.

Does the test hurt?+

No. The test is non-invasive. You stand on the foot electrodes and hold the hand electrodes for a brief measurement.

What does the grip-strength test measure?+

The included InGrip test records the force produced during a guided squeeze in pounds. The result provides a practical strength baseline and can be compared with future tests.

How often should I retest?+

Every two to four weeks can be useful when actively tracking progress. Testing under the same conditions matters more than testing frequently.

Is this a medical diagnosis?+

No. Results are estimates intended for education and progress tracking. They do not diagnose or treat a medical condition.
